In New York City there are restaurants on every corner. But one spot that is a must see might leave you out in the cold. “The Waverly Inn and Garden” is the latest restaurant to cause some buzz. The phone number is unlisted and you can’t get reservations. Unless you’re Brad Pitt, good luck getting a table. Another way to get reservations is swinging by the spot at 6pm, however doesn’t that seem desperate?
This past week Hilary Duff made a pit stop at this joint, which is a favorite of Gwenyth Paltrow, Jimmy Fallon, Harvey Weinstein and Gina Gershon.
When you’re finally in the restaurant, make sure to get their famous drinks. The French- and Italian-heavy wine list features few bottles under $30, but by-the-glass options include a flowery Vernnacia ($11) and a mellow Syrah ($12).
