It’s Oscar week and one of the “it” parties is the Gagosian annual Oscar bash. Last night the event took place in Beverly Hills and was in conjunction to the opening reception for Julian Schnabel's exhibition of recent paintings.

As you all know Julian is nominated for an Academy Award for “Best Director” for “The Diving Bell and The Butterfly”. The movie has also acquired nominations for best cinematography, film editing and writing for adapted screenplay.

The event brought in another Hollywood actor / artist James Franco along with Diane Keaton, Brett Ratner, Cuba Gooding Jr., Tilda Swinton, David Furnish, Dennis Hopper and Nicky Hilton.
