Stars Rock On At Coachella Music Festival 2009

This past weekend, the stars were out in the middle of the desert to hear performance of some of the best in music. Talk about an opening act, as the headliner of the opening night was Sir Paul McCartney.

Paul may be 66 but this Beatle sure knows how to put on a show--he performed for the crowd for 3 hours! It was an special night for Paul since Friday marked the 11th anniversary of Linda McCartney's death, and Paul sang an emotional My Love, which he dedicated to her.

Other performers over the weekend included Joss Stone,M.I.A., The Cure, Public Enemy, Groove Armada, The Killers among others.

The music festival may not have had the red ropes or carpet, but it still brought in the biggest names in Hollywood. From super private couple Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal to Agyness Deyn, David Hasselhoff, Dita Von Teese,Kristin Cavallari, Carmen Electra,Tara Reid, Kate Bosworth and the list goes on. Stars Flock to Montblanc Signature for Good Gala

The Montblanc "Signature for Good" Charity Gala was held in Hollywood on Friday Night and the stars were looking amazing. With the 2009 Academy Awards right around the corner, it made for an impressive upscale Hollywood Event that gave support to Unicef's Education Programs.

The party was held at the Paramount Studios Lot with Celebrity attendees like, Eva Longoria, Marcia Cross, Emily Blunt, Mira Sorvino, Mila Jovovich, Reese Witherspoon, Christina Ricci, Sienna Miller, Lucy Liu, Helen Hunt, Dita Von Teese, Rosanna Arquette, Andie Macdowell, & Director Oliver Stone.

Although Oscar Buzz was in the air, The stars spoke to us about the serious issues and importance of the event, "I think Unicef does wonderful work. For me it's really important that all women and all countries get an education." said Actress Andie Macdowell.

Desperate Housewives star, Eva Longoria also spoke on the issues and let us know what she is doing to give back to her own community, "I always find a big responsibility to give back to my community and my work with Padres Contra El Cancer & Eva's Heroes, I think that everybody that has a voice should be lending it to those that don't have one."

The positive energy filled the Huge Red Carpet and some stars also took and minute to tell Hollyscoop what they thing about this years Oscars.

Mira Sorvino explained the importance of an actor receiving an Oscar, "Its like a kiss on the head from the heavens you know."

Actress, Rosanna Arquette let us in on some of her personal favorites, "Its a really tough year I have a lot of friends in there, I do love love Kate Winslet and I loved Melissa Leo's performance, I thought she was incredible. Slumdog Millionaire I love love love love, It’s a good year."
