Prince Harry's Latest Stateside Hotspot: Little Italia in Gila Bend, Arizona

I'm guessing not a lot happens in the small Arizona town of Gila Bend. Maybe I'm profiling, but a Google Image search brings up 62,200 photos of dirt roads. Just saying.

But recently, the western Arizona town got an extremely high-profile surprise. A royal one. Prince Harry and thirty of his military friends popped into the Little Italia Restaurant, surprising the staff and restaurant owner, Antonino Buccellato. Buccellato told The Arizona Republic that Harry ordered a "meat lover's" pizza with pepperoni, bacon and sausage.

According to Buccellato, patrons recognized the prince and started whispering amongst themselves, but no one bothered him for an autograph.

"Nobody got up and asked to speak to him. They were very respectful," Buccellato said.

Gila Bend locals have been anticipating a visit from British royalty ever since they got wind that he would be training on helicopters outside of the town. Prince Harry & Co. dropped in on the restaurant at about 7:30 p.m. on Sunday. Buccellato heard that royalty was in his restaurant and rushed to make it in to meet Harry. Unfortunately, Buccellato was caught in a dust storm and didn't get to Little Italia until Harry was gone. #DesertLifeProblems

Prince Harry has been hitting up a ton of U.S. hot spots since his stay here. Okay, he's not exactly partying in South Beach, but I bet this Little Italia place makes a mean pizza. Especially since I can't pronounce the owner's name.

Here's a timeline of places Prince Harry has visited during his stay in the States:

Ivy Rooftop Prince Harry spent his first weekend in the States at San Diego's Ivy Rooftop, where he helped out a girl who got pushed into the hotel pool. The Prince and twenty of his friends hung out in a VIP Cabana at the Andaz Hotel's Ivy Rooftop, where they drank Vodka and Red Bull.

McP's Irish Pub: Harry then decided on a more laid-back venue, McP's Irish Pub. "He sat outside at a picnic table and ate a burger and beer. He was very personable. He was a nice guy, very low-key," McP’s bar manager Ted Taylor told People magazine.

Walmart: If there was ever a reason to go to Walmart, this is it. Prince Harry stopped at a SoCal Walmart to pick up some essentials: pizza, beer, and bananas.

Pipes Café: After hanging out at the local Walmart like a real American, Prince Harry hit up Pipes Café in Cardiff-by-the-Sea, near San Diego. He had a brekfast of bacon and eggs, costing him a mere $6.45.

"He stood in line like everyone else," a source told Us Weekly.
