The two week long Kentucky Derby festival is a stakes race for three-year-old thoroughbred horses, staged yearly in Louisville on the first Saturday in May, capping the two-week-long Kentucky Derby Festival.

The Race: The race currently covers one and one-quarter miles (2.012 km) at Churchill Downs; colts and geldings carry 126 pounds (57 kg), fillies 121 pounds (55 kg).

In honor of Earth Day, Starbucks is giving out free coffee or tea if you bring in your reusable coffee mug. The best part of this deal is you can even choose your drink to be hot or iced! According to reports, Starbucks ran the same promotion last year and saved over a million disposable cups. I am pretty sure 500,00 of those disposable cups were located in my office.
You know the Hollywood stars will be loving this deal. Since they drink coffee like it's water and love swag.
Starbucks isn't the only company trying to milk the environmentalist movement for great PR.
