Talk about a big honor! U2 will be honored with their own temporary street name in Times Square in New York City on Tuesday, March 3rd, to coincide with the release of the band's new album, No Line on the Horizon.

NYC Mayer Michael Bloomberg will rename part of West 53rd Street at Broadway U2 Way.

But the honor will be short lived. The temporary street name will only last the day, according to the Press Association.

U2 Way also marks the band's weeklong stint on The Late Show with David Letterman.

It is the first time a musical guest has performed a full week on the show, which is located at the intersection.
