It was an exciting night in New York City last night when the stars came out for the 76th Annual Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony.

Funny gal Rosie O'Donnell, Oscar Winner Jamie Foxx, Al Roker and David Cook all made a cameo last night to check out special performances by Kristen Chenoweth, the Rascal Flatts and the New York City Rockettes. Cook even performed two songs for the crowd.

The tree lighting ceremony has become a star-studded holiday tradition that attracts thousands. This year's tree was decorated with 30,000 energy-efficient LED lights on five miles of wire, topped with a 750-pound star made of 25,000 Swarovski crystals. It was donated by the Varanyak family in Hamilton Township, N.J.
