From the red carpet to an up-and-coming restaurant called The Gates, celebrities have been raving to Hollyscoop exclusively about their fave New York City places to hang.

Fresh from The Tribeca Film Festival – Hollyscoop caught up with local NYC resident Edie Falco, who adores dining at Bubby’s, a Tribeca staple.

Director Joshua Goldin (Wonderful World staring Matthew Broderick) prefers Greek restaurant Milos, where as his movie’s leading lady Sanaa Lathan dines at Da Silvano in Greenwich Village.

Carmen Electra keeps it simple, grabbing a slice of pizza whenever she hops into The City.

Hip Hop Mogul Russell Simmons recently hosted an event at The Gates, but when it comes to his favorite destination, he frequents Jivamukti Yoga School and their new Vegan Café.

NY Knicks superstar #4 Nate Robinson calls Sushi of Gari a slam-dunk for dining. Athlete turned actor Brian White keeps it low key at Philippe Chow NYC… also opening in East Hampton this May.

Speaking of The Hamptons, hilarious actor Alec Baldwin heads all the way out to American Hotel in Sag Harbor Long Island while 30 Rock’s Katrina Bowden stays in the city that never sleeps… shopping at Caravan / nibbling at Antique Garage.

So - who wins the fight for best nightclub? Michael Rivera and Dante Nero (who both had roles in the new film Fighting) agree that Marquis is the place to be, while Supermodel Miguel Perdomo (of Sean John) can be seen strutting his stuff at Tenjune in the meat-packing district.
