A favorite among Young Hollywood stars such as Kristen Dunst and Mischa Barton. Joan’s is not only a hot spot but actually has good food.
From good soups of the day to a large sandwich / salad selection. There might be a bit of a wait during lunch, but it’s well worth the wait. Besides you can always do some star sighting while waiting to be seated.

Hollywood star Mischa Barton was spotted leaving the Merchant hotel in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The actress is in town to attend the premiere of her lastest film “Closing the Ring”. Enough about Mischa, lets get to know her hotel.
The Merchant hotel is a intimate 5 star hotel which is situated in the historical Cathedral Quarter. The Grade 1 hotel is known as the top hotels in Northern Ireland. The hotels architectural grandeur will keep you gawking and make you feel like a royalty yourself.
The building was built as the Head Quarters of The Ulster bank which was completed in 1860. Below the hotel’s dome, you can dine in the “Great Room Restaurant” for daytime and evening a’ la arte dinning and traditional afternoon teas. Make sure to save up if traveling to this spot, because it can get pricey.
