Get ready, South Beach. Hurricane Olivier is headed your way.
Olivier Martinez, who may or may not be engaged to Halle Berry, is about to open up a restaurant in Miami.
"I love the interesting and international people I have met in Miami," Martinez told PEOPLE. "So when my friend Michael Martin said he found a space for a restaurant and lounge where we could bring in the best aspects from the South of France, I was excited and wanted to get involved."
Along with restaurateur Jean-Phillippe Bernard, Martinez is opening Villa Azur, a venue which will feature the flavors and seasonings of Saint-Tropez. The two are said to have spent many late nights enjoying delicious, fine food and wine in Saint-Tropez. The eatery will open in March.
"Olivier and I love Miami and want to bring the glamor and allure of the South of France to this melting pot of a town," Martin says.
The menu will feature French and Italian-inspired entrees, like penne pasta with vodka and caviar cream sauce or a veal Filet Mignon stuffed with artichokes, tomatoes and cheese. Suddenly the Hot Pocket I'm eating isn't as appetizing.
As far as the atmosphere goes, expect a lavish but laid-back interior design, meant to create a comfortable and relaxing environment. The bar and lounge will have a library with art and design books. There will also be couches for taking in cocktails or munching on hors d’oeuvres like caviar and oysters.
The restaurant is designed by Francois Frossard, who outfitted the venue in antique woods and chandeliers, mixing both contemporary and vintage furniture.
