You know, I’ve been meaning to go to Australia…
The Tao Group has conquered New York and Las Vegas, and next on their list is Sydney, Australia. They plan to open the Australian sister club to Las Vegas’ Marquee in March of this year. Congrats, Sydney.
The nightclub will open on the top floor of the ultra hip Sydney hotel, The Star, as part of its $870 million redevelopment plan.
It’s Tao Group’s first international venture, and the club will expand over 20,000 square feet of dance space, a separate library room, and a Boom Box room.
“Our team is looking forward to bringing the Marquee brand to Sydney while creating a venue with a distinct Sydney style and personality,” Noah Tepperberg, from Tao Group said: “It’s been great to see The Star unfold into an impressive casino and hotel, and now dining and entertainment complex, and we are excited to work with the talented Australian based team.“
The club will have a capacity of over 1,200 people, and the Main Room will feature a 30-foot projection stage with an LED DJ booth and two dance floors. Perfect for acts like LMFAO, DJ Chuckie, and Kaskade, all of who occasionally reign over the turntables of Las Vegas’ Marquee Nightclub & Dayclub.
And if you’re not wearing your dancing pants, the Library Room offers an intimate lounge environment. There’s even a working fireplace. The Boom Box room boasts a state of the art sound system and outdoor patio. You can relax and take a break from the beats with gorgeous views of the Sydney skyline.
