Marfreless, Houston,: There’s a small blue door under a staircase behind a strip center in Houston’s prestigious River Oaks neighborhood. Once inside, you’ll find a super dark bar with an upstairs area that's even darker so people can make-out. If you don’t feel like sucking face, head to the bar for strong but delicious cocktails.

Bathtub Gin, New York City: It's disguised as a cute little coffee shop in Chelsea. But if you see a little red light on, that means the bar is open. The light is above a fake wall, and if you push on it, it’s a door that will lead you to the bar.
