Leanne Rimes Lights Up L.A. Live
December 8, 2009 by: DIANA MADISON

This past week LeAnn Rimes lit the 54 foot LED holiday tree, which features festive holiday lights displayed along the streets using 75,000 lights that adorn 94 ten-foot angels along with over 265,000 snowfall LED lights covering 150 trees.
Leanne gave us the scoop on the special festivity, which you can view below. Following the successful holiday tree lighting and grand opening of the LA Kings Holiday Ice, guests at L.A. LIVE will now be treated to a one-stop holiday destination in the heart of Los Angeles.
The LA Kings Holiday Ice at L.A. LIVE will offer a festive holiday activity for Los Angeles residents and L.A. LIVE’s spectacular holiday LED multi-media presentation will offer spectators an awe inspiring holiday light show at the top of every hour.
AEG is also giving back by raising funds and generating awareness in support of non-profit organizations working on issues of hunger, homelessness and health care. During the month of December, various non-profit organizations will be highlighted during a brief program at the Los Angeles Kings Holiday Ice at L.A. LIVE.
The LA Kings Holiday Ice at L.A. LIVE skating rink will be open to the public from December 3-31, general admission is $10, which includes skate rentals. The rink measures 70 feet by 50 feet and can accommodate 200 skaters at one time. For more information check out lalive.com.
