Greystone Manor Opens in West Hollywood

This Thursday is a long awaited day. It's the official opening of the SBE Group's Greystone Manor venue in West Hollywood.

If you don't already know, sbe are the restaurant gurus that brought you Katsuya, The Colony and Cleo, among a ton of other venues. So you can bet this is going to be another chic, elegant place to party the night away. And eat!

Located in historic and hip WeHo, the venue pays homage to vintage Hollywood. Upon arrival, guests are meant to feel as though they're entering a VIP estate. Hell, even the website is designed to look like an exclusive mansion. The exterior of the club is decorated with a lush courtyard, and visitors are greeted by a personal butler, who asks to collect personal items and store them for the guests.

Performers and aerialists entertain guests throughout the restaurant, so there's no need for boring dinner conversation.

A statement from Costas Charalambous, Senior Vice President sbe Nightlife Group, reads: "Greystone Manor represents a contemporary take on the supperclub experience, combining intimate dining with chic nightlife in a very warm and elegant environment. Greystone delivers undeniable entertainment through its provocative live performances and top-notch DJ programming.”

The kitchen is headed by sbe executive chef Danny Elmaleh. Elmaleh is best known for his work at Cleo and Mercato di Vetro. Mark Zeff, the award-winning interior designer of the Hard Rock Hotel, helped conceptualize twenty-foot ceilings, nine LED infused chandeliers and two elegant bars at the venue.

According to a statement from the venue, Elmaleh "blends elements of neo-Renaissance with neo-Gothic décor, incorporating refined woodwork and rich fabrics with gold gilded irons and ornate moldings."

Nick Montealegre will supervise the marketing and entertainment of the club. Greystone Manor will only be open on Thursday and Saturday nights, from 10pm to 2am. Montealegre explained the odd hours:

“By only being open two nights, and with the Alliance promoting both, we look to create a particular consistency in the venue, so the guests know what to expect when they come to Greystone,” said Montealegre. “Considering how stunning the space looks, combined with the strength of our team and the support of the sbe platform, you can expect the city’s turn-out to be just as impressive.”
