A Restaurant Fit For Royalty: Maggie Jones in London

Hollyscoop spoke to Prince William’s cousin, Lord Fredrick Windsor, who revealed to us his favorite little eatery:

“Maggie Jones on Kensington Charles Street.” Lord Fredrick told us.

One of the highest rated and most popular restaurants in London, Maggie Jones must be bumping today with Royal Wedding hoopla. And Lord Fredrick isn't the only royal who has had a soft spot for the joint.

The restaurant is said to be named after Queen Elizabeth’s sister, the late Princess Margaret, who became Margaret Armstrong-Jones when she got married. Margaret lived in Kensington Palace, just around the corner from the restaurant.

Hidden on a small, one-way street near the Kensington fire station, Maggie Jones is said to have a warm and comfortable atmosphere.

If you’re visiting London, it’s a must. Lord Fredrick offered another spot for tourists:

“The National Portrait Gallery is one of my favorite, just walk around and enjoy it,” he told us during Los Angeles’ BritWeek.

“I'm slightly happy being here too,” he added.
