This past weekend, the girls of Hollyscoop took a break from red carpet duties in order to help out with a good cause.

Families for Effective Autism Treatment (FEAT) of Southern Nevada hosted the Autism’s Angels Gala, featuring a seated dinner prepared by celebrity chefs at the Stirling Club in Las Vegas.

The event brought in Comedian Louie Anderson who served as the Master of Ceremonies. The lavish event had fabulous entertainment by singer Kelly Clinton and featured the events honorees Tony and Jill Curtis.

Tony Curtis donated a painting of his wife Jill posing as Marilyn Monroe for the auction. A lucky guest was able to purchase the painting, which the Hollywood legend painted himself for $1,500.

What’s great about this organization is that it’s the only local non-profit organization in southern Nevada solely dedicated to helping families impacted by autism. The event brought awareness towards autism, which affects 1 in every 150 children born in Nevada.

FEAT provides support, encouragement, and guidance to parents and creates an opportunity for them to meet with other parents with similar needs and concerns.

Thirty Celebrity Chefs like Andre Rachot and Chef Charlie Palmer were among some of the few that participated in the third annual gala.

Each year this organization has raised over $100,000 with 95% of the proceeds going directly to the charity and services for children in Las Vegas. If you want to learn more about this organization and learn how to help log on to www.featsonv.org.
