On Monday, Eva's Las Vegas nightclub, Eve, was temporarily shutdown. Bankruptcy attorney Lenard Schwartzer says the club is still profitable and may eventually be renovated and reopened.
Longoria owns a 32 per cent stake in it. If there's one thing Vegas doesn't need, it's another nightclub. There's the problem--too much competition. And this isn't the first blow Longoria has taken. In January, Beso filed for bankruptcy after records showed it was losing up to $76,000 a month and owed $1.8 million to its landlords. Last year, Longoria was sued for breach of contracts by the restaurant's former managers, who alleged they'd been forced out of their jobs by "scare tactics."
The couple was said to have stolen cash, assaulted a server and punched a patron.
