Stars Walk To Africa

Lakers star Lamar Odom might have won the Championships but its not stopping him from helping out with a great cause. The Laker star will take part of the Walk To Africa charity event which will take place on June 27, 2009.

The event will be set in Santa Monica which will start at Crescent Bay Park. The day will include registration for the adult walk, opening ceremonies with a live celebration, 8 mile course with four Africa water relief stations every two miles, a children’s walk (a 2 mile course) and finally completion of the Walk To Africa! Sponsorships support and recognition of the walk will aid them in gaining exposure as outstanding members and supporters of the global community.

Participation in the Walk To Africa will greatly aid Lighthouse Medical Missions efforts to grow and succeed in achieving a greater impact on the world in need. Proceeds from the walk will be used to aid medical missions to Africa.
