Katsuya

Four locations and counting, that's the tune SBE is singing when it comes to their hip Japanese eatery Katsuya.
Katsuya, a collaboration between Master Sushi Chef Katsuya Uechi and designer Philippe Starck has been a big hit in it's Cali locations of Brentwood, Hollywood, Downtown and Glendale. It only makes sense for Sam Nazarian to expand his ever growing empire.
The new Katsuya will be will be opening later this year in the old Hush space in Laguna Beach with the same concept as all other Katsuya locations.
Menu prices range from $5 to $35 and diners can choose from wide variety of sushi, tempura, seafood and meat entrees. Katsuya Laguna Beach will be located at 858 S. Coast Hwy, formerly the Hush Lounge, south of downtown Laguna.
The restaurant, expected to open June 15, will offer indoor and outdoor seating.
For Katsuya NYC, although there are no confirmations we hear that the restaurant may open in Midtown.

From the rock shrimp tempura to the mozzarella/ crab tempura, we salivate just thinking out it! Not only is Katsuya a hot spot for dinner but a great place for lunch as well. On any given day, you can bump into Dave Navarro and Hilary Duff in the middle of the day.
The best part of lunch at Katsuya is you can get the best quality food for less. Nevertheless if you want to do some star sighting, hang out at the bar in the evening, our preferred drink is the watermelon and cucumber mojito.
