The hottie is about to set sail for the 2nd year on his Mayercraft Carrier 2. Mayer will host the fan cruise on the brand new "Carnival Splendor" from Los Angeles to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico from March 27, 2009 to the 31st.

We hear the band Guster along with other bands and comedians will join Mayer on the cruise. You can even party with Mayer in nightclub-like settings.
With all this Mayer talk, we can't resist thinking if he will be taking his favorite "Friend" Jennifer Aniston along for the ride? With the rate their relationship is going, we wouldn't be surprised. All we can say at this point is Bon Voyage!

John Mayer is one prankster. The singer hit a Hollywood favorite Italian eatery Dan Tana’s last night. When an autograph hunter approached John and asked for his autograph, John refused to sign his own name and signed Eric Roberts instead. Eric Roberts? Isn’t that Julia Roberts’ brother?
Anyhow, back to Dan Tana's. This is restaurant is the ultimate Hollywood hangout. With the best Italian dishes, super sized drinks and not to mention cool bar which will have you rubbing elbows with a Hollywood elite. George Clooney is a regular and even threw an Oscar post bash at this joint after the big show this past Sunday. The best part of this restaurant is there is no façade and you don’t need to feel uncomfortable or intimated if you are not a star.
