The venue formerly known as Play and Red Buddha Lounge recently got a makeover into a Bohemian bar specializing in absinthe. The club located on Yucca Avenue has a cool neighborhood feel mixed with some Hollywood glamour.

L.A. nightlife has given birth to Hollywood Boulevard’s newest hotspot, Vice. This ultra lounge has become a haven for celebrities and tastemakers since its opening in late August of 2007. Paris Hilton, Jenna Jameson, and Wilmer Valderrama have all made Vice a stop during their nights out.
The best part of it all is that “Desperate Housewives” hottie Jesse Metcalfe is a part owner and has teamed up with Steve Goldberg. The location that used to be known as Star Shoes was fully transformed into a sexy atmosphere with its smooth lighting and hip décor making it the hottest place to be not only for the in-crowd, but for the neighborhood locals as well. A small room upstairs allows VIP guests to step away from the crowd and hang out with their friends. The idea is for Vice to be the ultimate mix of the trendy Hollywood nightspot and the comfort of a local hangout.
