From Jay-Z to Johnny Depp: Most Expensive Celebrity Bar Tabs
December 26, 2011 by: KRISTIN WONG

Well, pre-partying is one more thing celebrities will never, ever have to worry about. They’re so rich, they have no idea what that even means. If you don’t believe me, check out these ridiculously expensive celebrity bar tabs:
Kiefer Sutherland: $700: If it’s not epic enough that Kiefer racked up a $700 bar tab, he did it between the wee hours of 7am and 1pm. Who drinks that early in the morning, much less $700 worth that early in the morning? Kiefer Sutherland, that’s who. According to an employee, the 24 actor was tossing back Scotch and Cokes at 'The Spot' in San Pedro, and he bought drinks for everyone at the venue. His bill was $500, but he left a $200 tip.
Zac Efron: $1,093: Breaking the four digit bar bill barrier is High School Musical star Zac Efron. Efron visited the Float Bar at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego. According to pals, Zac racked up the bill with expensive bottles of vodka and tequila.
Johnny Depp: $4,400: While visiting Chicago, Depp stopped in at Gibson’s Steakhouse, where he ordered expensive bottles of wine along with shrimp cocktails and some other dishes. The thing is, the bill was only $400. But Johnny left a $4,000 tip. Either he’s a very generous tipper, or he’s really, really bad at math.
Christina Aguilera: $8,000: Not to be outdone by the male A-listers, Aguilera dropped $8,000 on her bar tab in Wales. It was after her performance at the Michael Jackson tribute concert.
Ronnie Ortiz-Magro: $11,000: The Jersey Shore star celebrated his 25th birthday party in Vegas by spending $11,000 on Grey Goose and Dom Perignon. I’m sure there were a bunch of shots in the mix. You know you’ve made it when Dom Perignon is your chaser. And the best part of the whole thing is that the club paid for all of it. Sigh. I wish I was a guido gorilla juicehead.
Marc Cuban: $110,000: When the Dallas Mavericks won the NBA Finals, owner Marc Cuban took the party to club Liv at Miami’s Fontainebleau. He spent $110,000 celebrating and left a $20,000 tip for the wait staff.
Jay-Z: $250,000: But Jay-Z blows everyone away by spending a quarter a million on champagne to celebrate his new album with Kanye West. Watch the Throne is good, but I don’t know if it’s a quarter of a million in bubbly good. Jay threw the album release party inside Miami’s Fontainebleau and bought bottles of Armand de Brignac champagne for the night. And if that wasn’t enough, he spent thousands more at Scarpetta, the Italian restaurant inside the hotel.
