Hyde Las Vegas Opens In Las Vegas on New Year's Eve

If you look at the website for the Hyde Bellagio of Las Vegas, you're greeted with a countdown clock that will tell you just how much time you have to wait for its grand opening. 46 days, 9 hours, and 30 minutes at press time, by the way.

And you can bet, Hyde is going to put the "grand" in grand opening. Brought to you by the renowned sbe hospitality group, it's the business' first indoor/outdoor nightlife venture in Las Vegas. They plan to open their doors, appropriately enough, on December 31, 2011. The biggest party night of the year in the biggest party city on the planet? It couldn’t be any more perfect.

There are a few other Hyde Lounge locations, and they boast being "the ultimate in exclusive socializing." They have a reason to brag. Hyde Lounge is a huge celebrity hotspot, with clientele from Christina Aguilera to David Arquette to Beyonce. The lounge is decorated with rich, cozy interior design that creates an inviting and relaxing atmosphere. So celebs can come and relax from all their...celebritying.

The Hyde Bellagio location recruited the visionary designer Philippe Starck. Interiors will include floor-to-ceiling windows, a huge outdoor terrace that's perfect for viewing the Fountains of Bellagio, a Las Vegas landmark.

The venue will open early on New Year's Eve, from 5pm to 11pm. Some of the festivities will include an award-winning mixology program and a menu of gourmet small plates from Circo.

But the real party starts after the sun goes down. It's then that Hyde Bellagio will turn into a true nightclub, with 40 VIP tables, a variety of DJs, live performances, and some major A-listers.

After its grand opening, Hyde will then be open nightly from 5pm to 11pm, with extended hours until 4 am on Friday and Saturday nights.

SBE took over the Fontana Bar at the Bellagio and rebranded and desgined it to bring this indoor/outdoor venue of glitz and glamour. Construction began in May, and the entire place is about 12,000 square feet.

The first Hyde Lounge was opened in Hollywood in 2006. But it's since been expanded to downtown Los Angeles, at the Staples Center and Mammoth Mountain in Northern California. The company also plans to open Hyde Beach in South Beach, Miami in 2012. I foresee many celebrity shenanigans.
