Gansevoort South Hotel

Head South For A Great Summer Getaway
Summer isn't over yet and if you're still searching for a last minute getaway for the right price, check out the Gansevoort South in Miami.

The recently opened hotel is making a lot of noise with its signature rooftop pool, multi level beach club, luxury residences, spa and restaurants by STK and Philippe Chow.

The hotel offers so much that there's no need to even leave the property. The classic Miami Beach landmark has become the symbol of the “it” place to stay and party. It was recently featured as the meeting grounds on Bravo's new series Miami Social. Not to mention it’s cool rooftop club Plunge that brings in the hottest party-goers from all over the world. This past weekend, fashion designers and models plunged into the hot spot for Miami Fashion week. The pool was turned into a catwalk, as the 2010-swimwear collections were displayed. It doesn't end with Plunge, if you want a cool club atmosphere check out Louis . It is by far the hottest joint to party at in South Beach!

What’s great about this hotel is the multi-level private beach club that anchors the development and serves as its centerpiece and central gathering spot. The Nikki Beach inspired décor is the perfect place to either relax or start a party.

On the main level, a 55,000-square-foot semi-circular oceanfront pool deck is a relaxing “Pool Plaza” with an expansive bar and restaurant overlooking an infinity-edge pool trimmed with Bisazza glass tiles in shades of deep blue and gold.

The Gansevoort South Hotel, Spa and Residences includes 334 oversized guest rooms, 45,000-square-foot flagship DavidBartonGym+ Spa, the finest restaurants, full city block of luxury boutiques and the East Coast’s longest seamless shark tank with 27 types of fish and sharks that spans 50 feet of the lobby.

Gansevoort South Makes Big Waves In Miami

In additon to our extensive Miami coverage this week we would like to announce the latest addition to the block, Gansevoort South. The famed New York hotel is opening its doors in the city known for its wild parties, luxury and style.

The best part of the hotel is the Nikki Beach inspired décor, a 55,000-square-foot semi-circular oceanfront pool deck and the rooftop which will be transformed into a tropical haven dotted with coco palm trees and whimsical cabanas. The 110-foot outdoors swimming pool will be joined by, “Plunge”, a stylish bar and lounge.

The hotel will feature a gym by David Barton and a Spa. It doesn’t hurt that our favorite restaurants, STK and Philippe Chow will be opening its doors in the hotel.

We’re pretty sure this hotel will be the stopping ground for many Hollywood heavyweights. Especially the hotel’s Presidential Suite also known as the "Grand Dame Suite", includes 3,500 square feet of space, with two master bedrooms, two living rooms, an entertainment room, and an expansive outdoor deck, all with peerless ocean and city views.

The Gansevoort South Hotel, Spa and Residences is located on the up-and-coming north end of Collins Avenue (between 23rd and 24th Streets), widely considered to be the next epicenter of South Beach. It will comprise the 334-room Gansevoort South hotel and 259 condominiums currently available for purchase. To learn more about this hotel Click Here.
