Saturday night I felt like David Beckham did accomplish his goal, as over 90,000 fans gathered at Pasadena’s Rose Bowl to see Real Madrid take on the LA Galaxy. Of-course, one of the main factors was that Real Madrid was in the house.
Players such as Iker Casillas, Xavi Alonso, Sergio Ramos and Alvaro Arbeloa were arriving fresh from their World Cup victory. Did I mention how exciting it was seeing some of the world's top players such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Pepe , Gonzalo Higuaín and top coach José Mourinho.
Although LA Galaxy lost 3-2, it definitely was a victory for Los Angeles to host such an entertaining game. Being front and center on the field, it was amazing seeing all the fans united for the love of the game. The girls in the stands were going wild over soccer ace Cristiano Ronaldo.
The last time Hollyscoop spoke to Cristiano ( video here), he said he wouldn’t mind following in David Beckham's footsteps and one day playing in Los Angeles.
“David play there.. I spoke to him a few times..he says its great, maybe in the future you never know,”he told Hollyscoop. Don’t get too excited, Cristiano mentioned he’s in no rush. “I have time, I prefer to play in Europe. It's better in the moment in the future no one knows,” he added leaving some hope.
Speaking of some transfers, we hear through the rumor mill that AC Milan star Ronaldinho will be transferring to the LA Galaxy. Expect a public announcement sometime soon!

Cristiano started the weekend off at XS club at about 1 a.m. with a group of friends, and began to drink.
They had mixed drinks and took shots. Around 3:30 a.m. Cristiano began to flirt with the girls in his highly secured VIP booth. The group finally left together at about 4:30 a.m.
On Saturday night Cristiano hung out with some friends at the Playboy Club inside the Fantasy Tower at the Palms Casino Resort. Before heading out to the Playboy Club he went to Nove Italiano for dinner. He was accompanied by seven of his closest friends, who were all fashionably clad in Gucci attire.
To start, the group shared family-style appetizers. For his main course, Ronaldo enjoyed the carbonara and a 16-ounce bone-in filet mignon. Cannolis were sent out for dessert. After their meal, Ronaldo made his way into the kitchen to sign Executive Chef Geno Bernardo’s famous door.
The Portugal star spent his Sunday afternoon relaxing by his hotel pool enjoying a massage by a hunky man. Oh la la!
One onlooker said: "He was playing it cool and didn't want to be noticed. But later he began coming out of himself and seemed like he wanted people to know who he was."
Word around town is that Cristiano asked Paris Hilton to join him in Vegas for the weekend but she couldn't make it. But that didn't stop Cristiano from scoring in Vegas....literally! We hear he gave a few lucky ladies the weekend of their lives!
