Drinkify: Cocktail Suggestions to Match Your Music

Throwing a get together with friends can be a stressful endeavor. There’s a menu to plans, drinks to be made, songs to pick… The list goes on. There’s a website that can help, or – at the very least – add a fun activity for your next event. It’s called Drinkify and it will generate a drink menu for you based on the songs you are listening to.

Think Spotify, but with alcohol. “Never listen to music alone again,” the tagline reads.

Here’s how it works:

Say Rihanna’s is currently striking your fancy. Skip iTunes and Pandora. Go right to Drinkifiy.

Mad Men Inspired Cocktails

AMC’s hit show, ‘Mad Men,’ is about to return for a fifth season, and what better way to celebrate than drinking? Hey, you might not be working in a 1950s ad agency, but that doesn’t mean you can drink like you do.

Expert mixologist and Drambuie brand ambassador, Anthony Caparole, has put together some modern day twists on the classic cocktails enjoyed by Don Draper.

Let’s get to mixing, shall we?

Drambuie Old Fashioned -In a mixing tin half-filled with ice, add:  2 parts DRAMBUIE  2 dashes Angostura Bitters -Shake until the tin is frosted. -Strain into an old fashioned glass filled with fresh ice, add:  1 part Seltzer Water -Stir gently. -Garnish with a maraschino cherry pinned to the glass rim with an orange slice.
